• Is it even possible for a well-endowed woman to dress modestly?

Short of putting her in a mumu, a woman with a killer body will always look conspicuous -- and will probably be deemed 'slutty' or attention-hungry by the minds of passers-by more so than average-bodied gals in the same outfit.

So is it even possible for a well-endowed woman with an hourglass shape to blend in with the crowd? Or will she always attract the eyes and judgements of both men and women?prom dress

It absolutely is - you just have to be conscientious about the drama level of your decolletage, V necks are fine but the ones that plummet deeper can look like you're displaying. Tailored and fitted are more aesthetically appealing than tight/clingy. Sadly, being big breasted does suggest to many in Western culture that you're daft and/or easy. There's nothing you can do to combat this other than not being either. My rule of thumb is: when in doubt, don't.Certainly it is possible;school prom the "well-endowed" just need to pay less attention
to fashion trends that tend toward immodesty, and be more careful in our
    clothing, cut, and fabric selection.

And, a mu-mu wouldn't necessarily do the trick either, without attention
to the fabric, the cut (particularly neckline) and undergarments.

That said, a woman with "a killer body" will probably always look
a bit more conspicuous than her sisters, but she can dress very smart
and SHOULDN'T necessarily be considered "attention-hungry".But, mannerisms and other physical behaviors
can very often be much, much more telling
of a woman's intentions than her dress ---
and her physicality --- whatever they happen to be.

All you have to do is watch tv, or people watch in
a mall, or in any other social setting to realize that.It is not the woman's shape which is the problem, it is how much of that body they keep uncovered. It IS slutty and attention seeking to expose most of ones breasts and to wear skirts so short that others can see their underwear.

We should all be sensible and accept that women come in various shapes and sizes but we can all dress in a way that emphasises the differences as little as possible.Modesty doesnt imply you wear potato sacks around.

As long as it long enough and not painted to your skin, you've done your part.
There are such things as Cami's for "the girls" too. Cause I know how being well endowed in your chest region is a pain in the a$s region. by  prom dress uk

yea, a well endowed woman could dress somewhat modestly. maybe a blouse w/ a jacket & a pencil skirt or big, oversized clothes. but if they want to have a good fashion sense....idk, it might be toughYes, it is. I have an hourglass figure, and I am able to dress and not have the girls hanging out.Just don't be showing off cleavage or skin all the time, and form-fitting clothes are fine. Anyone who thinks you're a slut just because you're a fox is obviously retarded. It's more a matter of trying to take the attention with grace. Dignity is being polite when others are being rude. No easy task.If she wears clothes that cling or are stretchy, then she may appear "hoochie". I would think that a well made business suit would pobably help...with maybe a sports bra if she is busty..Of course it is, fashion houses in Milan and Paris devout their entire resources for just such things my dear.Stop eating all that fried chicken. If you think so, yes.
It's about your intention and what you are thinking. If she wears a shell suit she should be ok (except in Essex).

  • Would a maxi dress be approperate for a evening wedding/night reception?

i have a green black and white kinda pasily print maxi dress so i was wondering if i could wear it to a late evening wedding/night reception the green it kinda a bright jade green and it made of 92%polyester and 8%spandex its from jcpenny and is a bisou bisou lineprom dress

From what I have seen of maxi dresses, although they are long, most seem casual. Without seeing a picture, I would say no. You need something a little more formal.

Edit: I saw your dress. It is lovely. I guess I still feel that it is a bit casual for an evening wedding. It looks more appropriate for a day wedding or a beach wedding.school prom Sorry!I think that would be fine. You wouldn't want to wear just white or black, necessarily. The print will look lovely and the dress (if it is what I am imagining) comfortable and feminine.I beg to differ from the other answer. I think that with the right accessories and hair and make-up you can pull off the maxi dress.Yes, that sounds fine. Do something elegant with your hair and accessories to make it dressy and not beachy.prom dress uk

  • Should I dress as schoolboy or schoolgirl for upcoming party?

I'm a boy that's going to be attending a school uniform party soon.prom dresses I'm wondering whether I should wear my old school uniform, or whether I should wear something a bit more crazy. I could get a schoolboy uniform with shorts, or I could even dress as a schoolgirl! What clothing items do you think I should wear for the costume? Should I wear a wig or make-up? 2011 prom dresses What sort of uniform style should I wear?

It depends on how bold you are and what your personality is. If you want to be just a little different, wear a crazy tie dye shirt or a wacky tie with your uniform. If you're crazier than that, which is a possibility considering the question - go all out. Makeup, wig, schoolgirl skirt, prom dress ukeven heels if you can pull it off. Have fun :)

  • Has ellen degeneres ever put on a dress or an evening gown?

yes she has she wore a weding dress in Mr. Wrong and she wore dresses for comedy sake in her sitcom and she wore a copy of the swan dress for the emmys I found that pic on yahoo images. I dont think its a pattern. I think it was more for laughs. She has!prom dress And she didn't dress with as much of a masculine presence either. She wore some pretty feminine things in the Ellen sitcom and beforehand.

Only in playing a part in a movie where she "tried" to act like a heterosexual instead of a lesbian.....in "real life"....I don't think so!!!!

Cannot remember the movie's name, but remember her playing a part where she had a boyfriend, and believe she even wore a wedding dress in that film...wish I could remember the name of it.school prom....was years ago....during her most memorable period of time when she was trying to decide whether or not to 'come out of the closet', and thus was trying to take on movie roles that portrayed her as a straight instead of perverted person

Well I look at a lot of photos you can see at Imdb.com,and cleary in all the photographs she's in some sort of suit never a gown her partners are apparently the "woman" in the relationship and she is more comfortable being the "gentleman"
But when she is acting like in the movie Mr.Wrong like someone before stated she was indeed wearing a wedding dressProbaby not...since in her mind, prom dress uk she is a man (in her relationship) and why would a guy wear a dress...
